Perhaps unsurprisingly, the UK’s mountain bike fans always love a good gathering where they can sample fine food and drink whilst mulling over the latest developments in the biking world. This is why it is especially lucky that England’s first ever cycling city will soon be hosting a superb biking event at which the attendees could win one of Trek mountain bikes’ latest models.

Mudstock, as it has been dubbed, is a festival which will last two days and which forms a part of a series of events spread over two weeks to promote cycling and to celebrate the sport and bikes in general in Bristol. Bristol has gone made for bikes, since being given Cycling City status.The award gave the city large grants to improve facilities for cycling in the city as well as promoting the sport for its health and environmental benefits.

Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy demonstrations on Trek mountain bikes and other brands. Whatever your level, there will be a group ride happening to suit it. Famous and respected people from the world of mountain biking are going to be addressing the crowd in a series of talks, and this is expected to prove to be a very popular part of the event.

The event is free to get in to and everybody is welcome, regardless of whether they are great riders or not.Beginners and pros alike are all welcome. For beginners, the event is the perfect chance to learn a bit more about their hobby. Because many big biking brands will be selling their wares at discounted rates, this is a great time to stock up on the essentials. There is even a raffle with a top prize of a £500 bike donated by Trek mountain bikes.
