Why you need a Playstation 3
Late 2006 saw the launch of the PS3 and the start of much criticism. There is more than one reason as to why you would want a PS3
10. Home Entertainment Hub – Watch moves, listen to music and view pictures with the PS3 and it’s ability to interact with content from other shared devices. When the relatives are around you can show off your family snaps through your main TV without having to break out the PC or laptop.
9. Motostorm – It’s going to take you on a roller coaster, two cracking games for the PS3.
8. Folding @ Home administered by Stanford University offers the spare processor power of the PS3. Help science with your PS3, let your PS3 connect to Folding @ Home and know you are making a difference.
7. Buzz! Sony’s award winning quiz game, Buzz! makes a welcome return to the PS3. The definitive console quiz game which can be loaded with additional questions. Relax in your own sofa and test your knowledge against other sofa teams.
6. Sony goes Home with it’s new virtual world for PS3 users. Home offers an interactive world for PS3 users to explore. Home on the Playstation is a little clunky and you may well wonder what it’s purpose is, and then it will hit you.
5. PS3 gives users free online gaming. Online Gaming is great fun, and with Sony’s PS3 you do not have to pay for the privilege.
4. High Definition Gaming – Tiger Woods never looked so good. Games developers are now embracing High Definition gaming. The difference with HD games is immense, EA and Sony are both producing HD games.
3.Little Big Planet – It’s quirky, it’s Sony’s and it’s a gaming experience like no other, it’s reason enough to buy a Playstation – ask my XBOX loving nephew, it was the reason he bought a PS3.
2. Playstation 3 Live – Now you can record your favourite TV program and watch via your PSP. So if your tipple is Kate Garraway or Penny Smith, then fear not as you can gain hours of footage via your PS3.
1. Blu-Ray – If you have not experienced watching a Blu-Ray film via a HD TV then you are missing out, big time! Got an HD TV? Bring it to life with a Blu-Ray DVD player. The definition and picture clarity is stunning and adds a whole new dimension to the home cinema experience.
