Why Play Blues Guitar Instead Of Rock Guitar
Any style of music has its own roots. It is significant that the greatest guitar players like John Mayer or Derek Trucks and who are rock guitarists have their roots from blues guitar. The history of blues guitar is one of a form of guitar playing that was developed and allowed to evolve in the poor parts of the Southern United States and by the 1930′s and 1940′s blues guitar was everywhere in the United States and by the 1950′s it had made its way to Europe to help inspire the British Invasion that brought us the Beatles who were a very blues guitar based band.
You may wonder why some folks prefer blues music over for example rock guitar or Spanish guitar? Sometimes it is just their heritage that calls them to play some types of guitar but in most cases it is a common bond with the music that draws people to blues guitar.
If you don’t feel music then it will be hard to play the blues guitar. Blues is not mathematics. It is all about emotions and transferring them to the guitar. Even a bad technically skilled guitar player can produce great blues music.
