One of the best states to visit is defiantly Vermont by far. It has its own way of life and everything. In addition to it being such a great tourist town, it is a great town to live in. After all, you can’t have a tourist town without locals to tour! There is so much to do, but it is very different than what you think of when you think about tourist attractions. Since most of Vermont is taken up by mountains you will be able to experience things like hiking and kayaking. You can also find some great art. You may go to an air fair ant meet a commission artist selling homemade giclee prints. Vermont is a great place to vacation no matter who you are.
A city that should defiantly be on your to see list is Stowe, Vermont. It is relatively close to other interesting towns and is one of the most interesting towns in itself. It has tons of local flavors and is very hospitable to tourism. You are putting food on someones table every time you travel here, because tourism is what makes the town run. There are lots of local inns and lodges that you can pick from. You will most likely find that all of these places have some kind of outdoor facilities. You will be in the mountains, so you have lots of options to hike or go mountain biking.
Don’t be scared if you don’t normal take part in outdoor sports. Lots of first timers embrace the mountain activities while visiting the mountains in Vermont. Sitting right on Lake Champlain, you won’t find a much better location. You can take a walk down to the shore or spend the day shopping. The place to shop in Burlington is a street called Church Street. It is cut off from traffic and is lined with awesome and unique shops and restaurants. Burlington is a breeding ground for fun and funky individuals.
Overall, Vacationing in Vermont is the right choice for everyone. You will experience things that you cannot get in your own home town. You may be challenged to step out of your comfort zone but it will only be to your own benefit!
