Stargate – The Greatest Show On TV
A whole age group mourned the end of Stargate SG:1 – probably the most excellent sci-fi saga in the records of television. With 10 seasons below its belt, Stargate SG:1 is one of the longest operating sci-fi
TV programs ever, beating
celebrities in the arena like Star Trek: The Next Generation and the first Twilight Zone.Click through here for more information on watch tv online for free.
But the legion of fans that have
liked the program throughout the times find relief in the
fact that the show’s sequel, Stargate Atlantis, was still on the air.
That is, till such time when Stargate Atlantis was also pulled off the airing
schedule, declaring the
current 5th term as its end.
What should the millions of Stargate
fans anticipate?
Certainly, not a new cartoon
program banked on the franchise, right? You can obtain more information on watch live tv here.
Here comes Stargate Universe, a new take on the
TV program, albeit one which
will become apparent in similar
world populated by humans and Goulds,
among other tribes.
Stargate Universe, as lots of viewers have
noticed, is actually a mixture of Stargate and Star Trek, two of the most famous and most
influential science fiction
franchises in the 20th century. Stargate Universe doesn’t
restrictedly rotate on the Stargates that have
become the staple of previous
TV shows in the series, though the
Stargates are still the focal points of the
narratives. Instead Stargate
Universe uses a spaceship much similar to the
U.S.S. Enterprise.
As the story goes, an olden
ship launched by an aged
society has been unearthed. The
spaceship, which was labeled Destiny, was
lodged by a team of travelers,
specifically Colonel Everett Young, Tamara Jon, Chloe Carpenter, Eli Hitchcock, Lt.
Jared Nash, and Ron “Psycho” Stasiak.
But Destiny has a pre-planned flight path,
past the power of its crew.
Thus, the spaceship started
its adventure, taking with it the
team of travelers to farfetched stars
to encounter new acquaintances and new
foes, performing some
indefinite undertakings
planned by the ancient civilization.
Is the Destiny designed to be a vehicle that will connect the world, or a weapon that
is meant to destroy it?
Indeed, the dynamics of the franchise have been
altered with the pending
introduction of Stargate Universe. But as a Stargate viewer
would say to you, a flower by any new
name would hum just as fresh.
Even if that flower takes the
form of an intergalactic battle cruiser.
