Should We Really Be Watching So Many New Movie Releases?
Watching new movie releases, whether they are in the tradtional cinemas, imax or 360 degree cinemas, at home or round friends is no doubt great fun. Its an auditory and visual feast at best. At its worst it is a huge waste of time, effort and a little financial expense. Some films are super at educating viewers about the world and how to live better. Unfortunately sensationalism often seems to be the most important factor in a films construction. Although entering the realms of fantasy has led to incredible new films such as the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, more often than not films filled with arrogance, stupidity and extreme violence get praised.
It is purely my personal opinion that it can be a little too easy for people to get suckered into watching many of the supposed latest and greatest releases at the expense of living a little. Why not pick and choose films that really do appear to deliver something exciting. By doing this you will find more free time to experience life in other just as significant, if not more so, ways. As technology increases there seems to be an ever increasing need to communicate remotely with people. Try reversing that trend a little. Enjoy the best of both the film world and the so often far more “real” world!
