Roman Excitement
If you would like to make the most of the nightlife in Rome during your visit, you should definitely visit the Artcafé. This is one of Rome’s most famous clubs. Dancing in the Artcafé on a Friday night is a compulsory activity for many locals. It is a bit calmer on Saturdays but is open all week long, so you can go anytime you feel.
The disco in Villa Borghese (Via del Galoppatoio 33) is separated into 3 areas, each with a different atmosphere and music. Furthermore, there are various VIP areas, all with different themes, ready for you to use on a special occasion.
Before the DJ´s start on the turntables and the guests start to dance, the Artcafé is a noble restaurant during the day. This is great as after 3am, you can have all the free pizza and pasta you can eat (until it runs out of course). With such a mix of music, you’ll need the food to keep up your energy levels after all the dancing you’ll be doing.
As in most high fashion nightclubs, there is a certain level of sophistication that you will notice. Not all areas are accessible to the likes of you and me and you’ll notice a room made of glass with the title “Roberto Cavalli private”. Calvalli is a famous designer who designs a lot of fashion for H&M. He is just one on a long list of famous people who regularly attend the club.
In the club you can take advantage of the internationally recognised DJs, the high energy dancers and the very professional bar staff. Along side the dance floor you will find some private lounges that can be reserved. There is music for every taste, no matter if you’re a HipHop, R´n´B or House fan; there’ll be something for you. And the best thing of all; there’s no entry fee.
Most evenings have different themes. For example, there is a fashion night on Tuesdays, live jazz and dinner on Thursdays and HipHop on Fridays. Dress code is chic and sexy.
Pay attention as The Artcafé is not very easy to find! From Piazza di Spagna there is a long tunnel that runs right under the steps. Go through this or follow the crowds of party goers.
There’s plenty of Rome apartments (Ferienwohnung Rom) which is very central so you can easily crawl home after a long night out. Hotel Rom are very close to the city centre. However, just make sure to book your accommodation (Unterkunft Rom) in advance.
