Paris Plans
Here are three simple steps to achieving your perfect night in Paris, Dining, wining and partying. A guarantee to make you fall in love with Paris and its nightlife.
For the dining part of this night I deeply suggest that you book a table at ‘Les Ombres’, as the name would suggest, under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. You can actually sit on the terrace, looking out onto the Eiffel Tower, or sit inside where the art deco-design reflects the shapes that the shadows of the Tower creates. Head chef Arno Busquet, who trained under the infamous Joël Rubuchon, has a very varied menu consisting of seasonal specials and all-time favourites. Here you can expect to try some of the mouth-watering creations such as lamb with spice bread or Angus beef with Chinese truffles. However, as expected, this restaurant is amongst the most popular in the area and booking is therefore essential to secure a place. Prices are however quite reasonable, so bon appétit!
To start the clubbing off, the best club to get warmed up in is Buddha Bar. It’s one of Paris’s most popular hang-outs amongst young professionals, who just want to relax, and young locals who are getting warmed up before hitting their final destination. It is therefore quite hard to get in, but if you reserve a table at the in-house restaurant then you are guaranteed entrance. Another good tip is to dress quite smartly; when capacity is near full the bouncers get quite picky about admission. Getting in seems like hard work, but trust me, it’s well worth it! There’s a giant Buddha watching over the guests as they sip their cocktails in the palm treed booths, there’s chandeliers and a very quirky, dragon shaped bar. The music is very chilled out; the DJ’s spin relaxing ethnic tunes, and gradually work up the atmosphere in order to get all the party goers ready.
Final destination for this night of Paris wining, dining and partying is club Sanz Sanz. This club has it all; whether you want to chill out on the velvet loungers, listening to classic smooth chill outs or go wild on the dance floor with a mixture of soulful funk, hip hop and reggae. Drinks are quite expensive here, but you are in Paris so they’re relatively normal. The atmosphere rely is electric; there is a huge screen behind the bar that focuses on individuals dancing on the dance floor, and the bar staff bang on giant gongs each time one of the dancers amuse them, so be aware! The last step of your night is to leave the club with your shoes in your hands, reminiscing about the unforgettable night that you’ve just had, and to crawl home to your comfortable bed.
