The movie park in Babelsberg is approximately 30 minutes away from Berlin main station.

What is amazing about the movie park at Babelsberg is that you can stand very close to the stuntmen when they run through fire or when cars explode. If you like movies where animals play the main part, you can come to see the animal movie show and experience how they get well prepared for their roles.
Children will especially enjoy seeing the original car used by Peter Lustig in the series “Löwenzahn”. And if that is not enough for you, you can go and have a closer look at the dreamland set of “Oh wie schön ist Panama”.
However, if you prefer action, you can go to the 4-D cinema. This cinema is even closer, more intensive and full of action than in 3D-cinemas. You really should experience this!
Furthermore, events take place here on a regular basis. One of the big events is the Irish night on the 21st November. There you can dance to Irish music and learn a lot about legends and traditions of the green island.

After the movie with the same name was made here, the setting was kept and changed into this restaurant.
For those who prefer something sweet to eat there is a restaurant called “Sweet Dreams”. Here you can have some waffles or crepes.
This year on the 6th September there will be a big birthday party due to the 30th birthday of the “Tigerente”. This will also take place at “Prinz Eisenherz” restaurant.
The area of the movie park started to be used for production in 1911. In 1993 the park was opened for the first time. You can experience a lot on a total surface of 46 hectares.
The movie park at Babelsberg is very suitable for a daytrip from Berlin. You should allow enough time to see everything and to experience all live-shows that are included in your day ticket.
