For a typical person they have to use are three thousand calories for each pound of fat. So, assuming your calorie intake remained static and your weight was stable, you’d need to burn an extra 500 calories per day to drop just one pound of fat over the course of a week. That amount of weight is not enough for a person to be happy with, but to lose more you would have to work even harder. In order to lose an acceptable amount would take more work than most people can do on a regular basis unless they don’t do anything else with their time. Because most of our lives are already fairly busy, there is not enough room left in the schedule to work out as much as we would need to.
Working out too drop the extra pounds is something that a person needs to devote all of their time and energy to. They cannot rely on a basic thirty minute cardio class three times a week. While it is possible to develop a workout program that can get results, a person will need to devote the time and energy that is needed. Exercise alone does have benefits. Getting out and doing cardio will help improve a person’s health. In order to drop the pounds and get your body into the shape that it should be, you need to control your workouts and what you eat.
