It didn’t matter that they cost us a small fortune to have and proudly wear, we bugged our folks continually to get them for us. It’s actually not like I used to be a rich 16-year-old, but seemingly it was the “in” thing to wear and showed style and status. Nevertheless they have quite a lot of competition and quite a few folk are not putting such an emphasis on what brands they’re wearing these days. The real world tends to remind me that I have much more critical things to spend my cash on besides Calvin Klein jeans. The teen inside of me wants to be cool once more. The mature adult inside of me tells me that they will most likely never fit me again and I should just keep to what I have shown to be effective for my size and my budget.
